Anyone who REALLY know Porsche knows that the Porsche GT3 is the God of their race cars. The new 911 GT3 997 RSR pumps out 485 hp out of its naturally aspirated 3.8 liter flat six. That’s more than even the 997 Turbo! …And, this car only weighs 2700 lbs!
Check out this video of these lucky bastards receiving their brand new GT3 RSR race car. They start it up for the first time and wow – just listen to that amazing flat-six motor!
It is no secret to the Integrated Energy Sector that the Canadian Province of Ontario is currently experiencing a ‘fuel supply shortage’. As of this week it seems to have been somewhat rectified and was widely felt in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) about two weeks ago. At one point during the last 3 weeks many gas stations across the Province could not keep up with consumer demand and as a result went days without any fuel. Gas prices surged up to $1.10CAD/litre ($3.59USD/gallon) during this 2 week period and have recently held steady around $0.99CAD/litre ($3.25USD/gallon). In response to this, Suncor Energy Inc. (an integrated energy company based in Calgary Alberta currently developing one of the world’s largest petroleum resource basins, the Athabasca Oil Sands) has introduced a 50% off Car Wash Special at all Sunoco Ecowash Locations in Ontario Canada valid until April 30th, 2007.
What a socially responsible oil company. . . . (slight oxymoron).

The worlds sickest and most expensive TV commercial that commemorates Ferrari’s 60th Anniversary.
Although every other car blog has already covered this wicked awesome commercial, that was before Carzi even launched, and we HAVE to post this as it is the ass-kicking-est (and most expensive) commercial ever made. Listen to those engines.. I am still grinning from ear to ear after watching it 5 times.
To shoot the baddest commercial ever created in the galaxy, Shell filmed different generations of Ferrari F1 cars blasting through the streets of Rome, Monte Carlo, Rio, Sydney, New York and Hong Kong.
I must confess, I have always wanted a Vertu cell phone because they are the quintessential gadget for those with money and the desire to own cool and unique toys. I don’t know anyone with a Vertu, nor have I ever seen somebody with one. This is the main reason why they are so cool and desirable!!
Vertu’s Ferrari Challenge Team raced for the first time this past weekend in Monza and have announced a continuation of their partnership. This limited edition Ferrari Ascent is limited to just 1947 phones in order to commemorate the year which Ferrari was founded and by the way this year is their 60th Anniversary!! This phone has black and red leather with the back plate featuring a relief of the Ferrari brake pedal and a Prancing Horse on the front. The phone will be available in Vertu stores worldwide in July 2007.
Vertu also has a Limited Edition ‘Racetrack Legends’ series of phones which are also pretty slick if you cannot get your hands on the Ferrari Limited Edition one.
Does anyone out there think this car looks better than the previous-gen WRX???
This is a pic scanned from the new issue of Motor Trend, that was posted up on the North American Subaru Impreza Owners Club (NASIOC) forums.
The new car is available in this Mazda3 wannabe wagon style only. Changes for 2008 include the ridiculous chrome grill, awful clear taillights and front brakes sporting 2 piston calipers in place of last year’s 4 piston units.
It looks like Subaru is continuing in the tradition of the hideous B9 Tribeca SUV. What’s the STi going to look like if this is the starting point? This is a BIG win for Mitsubishi – I am looking forward to seeing more EVOs on the roads!
Watch this video as actor Eddie Griffin crashes a beautiful red Enzo Ferrari into a safety wall (with someone right behind it) during a rehearsal for a charity racing event. What a shameful way to wreck such a beautiful car. It’s also pretty interesting (sadistically) to see how those safety walls completely re-direct (kinetic motion) during a head on crash.
Yet another Enzo Ferrari bites the dust… this could even be Daniel Sadek’s own car from the upcoming movie Redline.
Mercedes is about to debut their highest level coupe model. With the introduction of the Mercedes-Benz CL 65, the new generation CL coupe will be available in a quartet of flavors; V8 regular, V8 AMG, V12 regular, and V12 AMG.
Here are notable specs of the CL line-up, and estimated base North American pricing:
