Cannonball Run Cup (Russia, Europe, U.S.A.)

60 Cars will be departing from Moscow and completing 3,500km within the Russian Federation. The Russian Run offers automotive rock stars a unique opportunity to see some of the beautiful Russian landscape when they are not out running each other or the police. I can just imagine how crazy awesome those parties in Russia each night are going to be (Russian Supermodels, Stoli, and Russian Gangster who know how to throw down a party. YeeeeeAAAAA)! With some of the richest and most powerful Russians (Politicians and Gangsters) of the post-communist era, this event is hailed as the diamond event of the 3 Cannonball Runs.
77 Days Until the Cannonball Run in Europe (CRE) slams through yet another year of success and insane whips.
This 6 day, 3000 mile, 8 country adventure will begin at Sandown Park Racecourse in Esher, Surrey on Sunday July 1st. Cars are to be shown at 2pm and on the starting grid for 4pm with each car leaving one after another in 30 second intervals where they are off to their first undisclosed checkpoint.
This rally (*race*) will end at Oatlands Park Hotel in Weybridge, Surrey, at an estimated time of 4pm. Rest assured there should be a could hundred fans as usual waiting for the cars to arrive. I wish I could attend, but it doesn’t look like its going to happen this year. Next year might be another story, a live one hopefully by me reporting from the road during the RACE!!
If you cant afford to take part in the Gumball 3000 ($55,000USD entrance fee) over in Europe, then you might want to consider signing up for the Great American Run which will only cost you $10,000USD per car (2 person occupancy).
400 CARS all start in 1 of 4 different cities (Miami, Atlanta, Washington DC, New York City). Each route is approximately the same distance from start to finish.
Objective: Complete the race and obtain an average better than 61mph over the entire 2900 mile route. Each night the race stops at a luxury hotel and wild parties ensue.
The $10k entrance fee gets you: (in order of importance)

Hi, I'm
These cannonball runs are a lot more reasonable than the Gumball, and all in the same spirit.
“average better than 61mph” – how about 100mph?
The cannonball run might be more reasonable with respect to its “price to participate”, however the Gumball 3000 is still my race of choice as it attracts those who can afford $55 g’s to enter, not to mention all the ballers who like to drive hard and fast. When I have the ability (cash wise) to participate, I’d love to take part in both! Cheers. P.S. Nice blog, I like your 997 banner.
