General Motors has officially unveiled its 2008 Chevy Corvette C6 sporting the new 6.2 Liter LS3! The LS3 monster boasts an extra 200cc’s of explosion space which delivers an additional 36 horsepower. This increased displacement comes from an increase in bore 103.3mm instead of 101.5mm. This 2008 upgraded C6 borrows some technology from the Z06 LS7 7.0L, such as cylinder head design and fuel injectors.

Engine Size: 6.2L (376 cubic-inches)
Horsepower: 430 hp (321 kW)
Torque: 424 lb-ft (575 Nm)
REDLINE: 6600rpm (400rpm less than Z06’s 7000rpm)

Optional Dual-Mode Exhaust System Yields:
Horsepower: 436 hp (325 kW)
Torque: 428 lb-ft (580 Nm)
