IMSA Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Photos

With the recent Lamborghini Gallardo update (both styling and mechanical) producing the new and improved Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, there isn’t a whole lot one would need to tweak upon garaging such a beast. Not immediately anyways.

Since acquiring the LP5560-4 the IMSA Tuners went to work adding some minor styling tweaks such as a subtle carbon fiber spoiler (Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera Style) and IMSA black spoke polished lip alloys.

Mechanically they have massaged the V10′s output and added 24 horsepower to the already plentiful 560hp making it an LP584-4. While not yet specified, engine modifications are most likely accomplished via air flow improvements (meaner growling exhaust system) and an ECU re-mapping.

A new suspension setup has also been fitted, to improve the car’s already amazing updated handling abilities.

Don’t forget to checkout the widebody IMSA Lamborghini Gallardo GTV with 1000 HP which I spotted during the 2008 Montreal Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend earlier this year!!

You could never drive this car in America, with all the speed bumps they’ve been putting up you’ll destory your car.

Pretty soon we’re going to need a family-tree style diagram with all these Gallardo versions and modifications. It’s getting almost as bad as the Mustang.
