Jaguar XK and XK-R Facelift Spy Photos

In case you haven’t seen the latest Jaguar XK and XK-R Facelift prototypes, here are some spy photos that were snagged in the US desert during some hot weather testing. Those New Jersey plates sure are a long way from the Jaguar American headquarters in Mahway, New Jersey.

The new XK and XK-R will debut at the Paris Motor Show this October, and will go on sale early next year. New features include a restyled air intake on a new front bumper and LED taillights. Finally, their seems to be a new shark fin antenna (as seen in these photos) on the lid which replaces the ancient retractable power antenna.

I’d like to point out that that fin is also on all cars that have satellite radio 2007+ and that the retractable antenna was removed for MY2008+ as well.
