A verde ithaca Lamborghini Murcielago dramatically veered off the westbound side of the California 101 freeway near Shoup Avenue and came to a disastrous 30 foot crashing fall bursting into flames at a parking structure in the 22100 block of Burbank Saturday August 30, 2008.
A 30-year-old Calabasas man, whose name has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene, said Officer Patrick Kimball of the California Highway Patrol. He had been badly burned in the crash, Kimball said. The crash caused the closure of two lanes on the 101 freeway for more than six hours. The wreckage was cleared away by about 8:45 a.m.
This crash totally trumps criminal mastermind Stefan Eriksson‘s Enzo Ferrari crash on the PCH in February of 2006 as seen in the image below.
It also trumps Nick Hogan’s Supra Crash because of the 30 foot drop and bursting into flames part.
