Montreal Dropped From F1 2009 Calendar

I have just learned that Montreal has been dropped from the F1 2009 calendar!
It was just announced that the Canadian Grand Prix which takes place in ‘hot as hell’ June in Montreal, QC (Canada) has been removed from the 2009 F1 Season Circuit. This was just announced today Tuesday October 7, 2008, by the International Automobile Federation. This will be the first time since 1987 that Canada will not host a Formula One race!

With 3 races remaining in 2008’s 18-race schedule, the FIA released the 2009 calendar which moves the Turkish Grand Prix from August to June to replace Montreal. This decision allows the teams a summer break!!!
A F’in SUMMER BREAK… ARE YOU F’in KIDDING ME??

Organizers have however added the inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as part of its schedule for November 2009. I think I might be attending this one, so if anyone wants to make it a party, drop me a line and we can hash it out
The move means there will be no F1 race in North America in 2009 as the U.S. Grand Prix in Indianapolis was also removed this year.
