Pagani Zonda R – First Official Pictures

In the world of Pagani Zonda, the only thing more hardcore than a private gathering of 14 Pagani Zonda’s at Horatio Pagani’s Estate (see Vanishing Point Pagani Rally 2008 Pictures) or even a Pink Pagani Zonda is this Pagani Zonda R and these first official pictures!
Sorry it took me so long to get this post out, but I can’t stop looking at these pictures of all the details from it’s spaceship like features found just about everywhere on the car.. most notably the in your face Gatling gun type exhaust pipes and the “even more awesome than F1″ steering wheel!


Although the Zonda R’s sexy self is a sendoff for the current model range, the exoticmaker reports that the car is in fact 90% new. Built using a spendy carbon-fiber/titanium mix (reportedly an industry first) and being at once longer, wider and lower than the Zonda F, the R figures to have real presence to go along with its
It’s 6.0-liter V12 engine delivers a 739hp and when coupled with its ultra light carbon fiber & titanium frame which weighs in at 2359lbs (1070kgs) the Pagani Zonda R will do 0-60mph in 3 seconds with a top speed of 233mph!
Only 16 of these marvels are planned for production, 15 will be offered to the public (read that as “preferred qualified customers”). Pricetag €1.4M or roughly 1.8 Million USD.
