I recently had a chance to check this Electric Porsche 911 / 959 while at Supercar Weekend 2009 in Palm Beach Florida.

This EV’s purpose was built for 95% driving around town. Battery options range from 50-200 mile range and can reach over 100 mph. Lead acid package includes 17 Odyssey series-2150 93AH batteries, EPN DC 11″ motor, 1000 amp water cooled controller, 5 speed 915 Porsche trans. 17″ Cup wheels. Power windows, A/C. Color change available. Available for $65,000 USD.

    I think there is a guy here in raleigh that has an electric porsche. He said they still have a huge amount of horse power!
