Leonardo Hidalgo Art – Supercar Weekend 2009
Posted by Anthony CarboneFebruary 24, 2009 at 8:17 am

Here was some art by Leonardo Hidalgo that was on exhibition in the VIP tent at Supercar Weekend 2009. Leonardo Hidalgo is an Ecuadorian-born artist who is recollecting his childhood experiences and expressing it with acrylic and canvas. Beyond these paintings, his work combines Japanese culture, the American way of life, pop art and the comics of his time. Prints of his work range from $7500 USD (48″x48″) to over $15,000 USD (80″x80″). BTW, I love his art and I want a piece

Hi, I'm
It is beautiful art work. Great Photos. Do you have a favourite from these, Anthony?
Thanks Vinay, I love the first one and the 4th from the bottom which seemed to have been done in a different style or finish as it was much glossier, maybe it was a print?
It’s interesting, but has anyone informed the estate of Jean Michel Basquiat? They might have something to say…
Richard, very interesting, just checked out Jean Michel Basquiat paintings and I do see some similarities.. Very interesting, thanks for the heads up!
