With the recent chance to checkout the new 525hp Audi R8 5.2 V10 FSI (Photos) at this years 2009 Toronto Autoshow (Photos), I was totally hoping to hear it start up but we all know that is something reserved for shows like 2008 SEMA Show (Photos), 2008 ESSEN Motorshow (Photos) and 2009 Tokyo Auto Salon (Photos). Ramp up the volume and listen to this German baby sing

I am not convinced that the R8 was designed to be a V8.. I think they secretly new they wanted it to be a V10, but wanted to test the market first with a V8. This car was meant to be a V10 and I would now consider getting one with 525hp.. SICK!
