2009 Motion Custom Car Show Pictures HERE

The Motion Custom Car Show will make it’s debut this year at the Direct Energy Center, Exhibition Place, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The show opens Friday March 27, 2009 at 10am and ends Sunday March 29th at 6pm. This show used to be branded as Speedorama but seeing that Speedorama 2009 was canceled, it’s now called the Motion Custom Car Show.

After attending this years 2009 Performance World – Photos and 2009 Performance World Girls which was pretty much a repeat of all the same cars as Performance World 2008 Car Photos, I really hope this newly branded event offers some new cars and some NEW CarZi Babes.

In the first video, Sebastian Vettel explains the 2009 Formula 1 rule changes with the assistance of some pretty wicked awesome animations. The coolest new rule allows for regenerative braking system (called KERS – kinetic energy recovery systems) utilizing a battery to store the energy created when braking. This system will give each driver a 6.5 seconds boost of 82hp per lap! The second video is similar to the first but incorporates some of the F1 drivers (Lewis Hamilton) and their thoughts on the upcoming changes.

Aston Martin previously released Video 1 and Video 2 revealing a little more information and building more mystery each time around. This video outlines the levels of details and expertise employed by Aston Martin throughout the projects development.

An unidentified Russian hitman fired several rounds and seriously wounded Spyker owner Alexander Antonov and his body guard in Moscow on Wednesday March 18, 2009. Alexander is also the chairman of board of a Russian banking group called Konvers Group.

This past weekend in Sweden, the upcoming Ferrari F430 replacement (codename Ferrari F142) known to us as the Ferrari F450 was spied during some of it’s cold weather testing.

This iteration of Ferrari’s RWD supercar is rumored to potentially have 520+ hp which would make it even more bastardly fast and powerful than the Ferrari 430 Scuderia. (those amateur monkeys over at WorldCarFans.com called it a F430 Scuderia AGAIN… there is no F in 430 Scuderia for F sake)

Yesterday March 11, 2009, in Newport Beach there was a super deadly crash involving 2 exotic cars and as a result TAPOUT founder Charles “Mask” Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene, a second injured, a third arrested for gross vehicular manslaughter and a fourth person detained by police.

A Newport Beach Police Officer who witnessed the wreck; saw a red Ferrari and a white Porsche “spinning out of control” on Jamboree Road between Bison Avenue and East Bluff Drive at 12:57 a.m. Checkout the very last video, you can see the passenger side turn signal still flashing even though the car was cut in half!

The speed limit on the road is 50 mph.

Romanian industrial designer Iulian Bumbu has just released these Lamborghini Insecta concept pictures, inspired by insect exoskeletons. It is his take on what future Lamborghini styling might look like.

Iulian explains “The idea was to create an extreme race-oriented supercar with a style that introduces softer and more organic lines and integrate them into the geometrical style of Lamborghini.”
