Not only does May 1, 2009 signify CarZi HQ moving to Toronto, but it also marks a weekend full of FUN! Vinay will be heading to Los Angeles to cover the start of the 2009 Gumball 3000 and I will be heading to Santa Barbara California to cover BimmerFest 2009! 5000+ Pictures of over 2000+ cars will be posted next week. Bimmerfest 2009 is set to be the first place to see the new 2010 BMW Z4 on the west coast of the United States! BMW will be coming out with 2 pre production 2010 Z4′s that will be on display throughout the day.

Chevrolet is bringing the Grandsport Corvette back as a 2010 model, after a break of 15 years. The Corvette Grandsports have held their own position in the market and you can catch a bit of their history by going through these pictures of the 1964 Chevy Gransport that Anthony recently captured.

This disgrace of an SLR gives this modified UGLY Corvette C3 a run for it’s money.

Josh Mcrae covered the Zenvo ST1 Pictures when released, and now we have a video of the new Danish supercar in action! Denmark’s first supercar has 1104hp produced by a rear mounted turbo & supercharged 7.0L V8. It delivers 1054 ft-lbs (1430Nm) of torque at 4500 rpm which means 0-100km/h (62mph) is accomplished in under 3 seconds! Electronic speed limiter is set for 375 km/h (233 mph). For the 2nd year in a row Lexus is planning to enter it’s Lexus LF-A prototype 2 seater supercar in the 24 hour Nurburgring Endurance Race (Officially called the 37th ADAC Zurich 24h-Race 2009) during May 21-24, 2009. Naturally this contender is race equipped with roll cage and special crash/fire friendly gas tank as well as a GT size race wing and other aerodynamic tweaks that you can see from these photos. For those of you new to Gazoo Racing, they are the experts responsible for running the Lexus teams in Japan’s SUPER GT series of races.

The Aston Martin’s One-77 made it’s world debut at Concorso D’Eleganza on the grounds of the Grand Hotel Villa D’Este on the shores of Lake Como in Italy this past weekend (April 24-29, 2009).

Aston Martin Chief Executive, Dr Ulrich Bez said: “The One-77 demonstrates the unique capabilities of our company – it encompasses engineering excellence with a great passion from our engineers, designers and technical partners. Rolls Royce finally rolled out their new model called the Rolls Royce Ghost which was referred to in spy spottings as the Rolls Royce RR4. Although the Ghost looks small and compact when compared to the Phantom, it’s still a big in your face luxury sedan. The Ghost has a BMW twin turbo V12 under the hood with more than 500hp available managed by an 8 speed automatic transmission.

This Porsche Cayenne GTS is called the Tornado 750 GTS, made by Gemballa Automobiltechnik. The name Tornado is very apt because it does look like something that has been ravaged by a tornado! Gemballa markets this as the “New striking super sportscar in SUV format” and we agree, but is it a threat to all the sports cars out there? Lets investigate.
