The Mercedes Benz S-Class is one car that needs no tuning, yet German firm Relux have done just that. They have gone ahead and further modified a $100,000 Mercedes S-Class. They are lesser knows at these parts of the world because their popularity lies with people in the middle-east. So lets see what they have done to the S. (Yet again, Anthony photographed this Relux Mercedes Benz S Class at the 2008 Essen Motorshow back in December)
The front gets a makeover in the form of a new bumper that now features integrated LED daytime running lights. It also gets a new front spoiler. at the back, the luxury limo gets quad trapezoidal tailpipes which are slightly offset on either side of a massive diffuser. Huge 20-inch wheels finished in black provide further drama. Also present are tinted windows, new side skirts and brake light clusters.
With the exteriors done, the Relux has moved to the interiors which is finished in delightful black and cream leather. The engine receives some special attention with a cuztom exhaust system, an uprated ECU and upgraded turbochargers.
So what do we think? Its a good attempt by the firm bu we would rather take the fully loaded S-Class by AMG instead.
