Furthering Harish’s post on the Toyota Scion iQ (Pictures & Details), a short video has hit the web for our viewing pleasure. Keep in mind that this iQ that you see was built by Five Axis for the New York Auto show and is not what the stock version will look like. This car is already sold on the Japanese market and there were 4 Modified Toyota iQ‘s at the 2009 Tokyo Auto Salon.

BMW‘s X6 seemed like a venture into unexplored territory, but it now has some company in the form of this crossover from Acura, called the ZDX. The Acura ZDX was displayed at the New York Motor Show after being teased by means of images released by Honda. Acura used such words as “sensuous” and “emotional” to describe the ZDX prototype and said in a statement that it was clearly in the hunt for “an entirely new customer.”

Checkout this video of a young man in Saudi Arabia who sneaks out of bed at night in his pyjamas to drive his dads Lamborghini Reventon to a speed of 222mph (356km/h)!! There are only 20 of these ultra rare $1.4 Million dollar roadgoing spaceships in the world. I was lucky enough to see the Lingenfelter Reventon at the 2008 SEMA Show in Las Vegas owned by Ken Lingenfelter (owner of Lingenfelter Performance Engineeering) Collection of Brighton Michigan).

The Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Gullwing is the result of Mclaren and Mercedes parting ways and as a result Mercedes AMG will exclusively engineer their own supercar. The Mclaren SLR, SLR Roadster and Mclaren SLR Stirling Moss will be the last road going car that the two brands will co-engineer, ending their epic journey of development. Mclaren is now busy making their replacement for the Mclaren F1, Mercedes is almost ready to debut their new SLS AMG Gullwing!

Italian model/ape Fabio was driving red Ferrari 599 on Mulholland Drive in California, which is owned by World Class Driving when he went into a turn with too much speed and lost control of the car. (I bet the clown was texting while driving..) A World Class Driving rep said “We are not very proud of the fact that Fabio wrecked our car.”

Unlike the recent TAPOUT Charles Mask Lewis Ferrari CRASH, Fabio walked away unharmed with some nice damage to the front, side and rear passenger side of the Ferrari.

Mercedes Benz tuner FAB DESIGN unveiled this modified McLaren SLR named Desire at the Geneva Motor Show last month. I must admit that I am a little surprised that they claim that all 15 limited production units have been spoken for, so you will have to wait till one hits an eBay auction.

Audi and BMW are at it again! This time though, its not the typical Audi A4 Vs BMW 3 Series racing duel but a similar one on billboards between an Audi A4 and the new BMW M3 Coupe (not exactly apples to apples comparison)! You can check out the cool pictures where BMW’s reply has been posted in close proximity to all Audi hoardings. The battle is taking place in the luxury car battleground of California.

This is the most hardcore Nissan GT-R built to date, after of course the Nissan GT-R Spec-V. Don’t forget to checkout our first to web exclusive 93 pictures of the Nissan GT-R Spec-V thanks to Anthony’s timely visit to the Nissan Ginza Showroom in Tokyo for it’s unveiling.

What you see here is Nissan’s GT1 version of its popular GT-R which now enables it to enter into the highly competitive FIA GT championship starting 2010. Their upcoming 2009 season is just a developmental season with Nissan participating in full fledged competition beginning 2010. Fully produced in collaboration with NISMO and Gigawave, the car will be entered into four races in 2009 for testing and development. Its first race will be at Silverstone on May 3rd 2009.
