The Smartcart is the little city run-about and is currently very popular in Europe. The Americans are warming up to the Smart ForTwo Coupe and Smart ForTwo Cabriolet and during these recent economic times, more and more people are looking for smaller, lighter and more fuel efficient modes of transportation.

This Toyota Scion iQ is powered by a 1.3L 4 cylinder VVT-i engine, Five Axis custom stainless exhaust, 18 inch custom wheels with nickel finish prototyped by MetalFX, Yokohama S drive tires, TEIN Super Street coil over suspension, Five Axis wide body conversion kit and custom accented headlights and taillights.

Toyota believes it has a contender with it’s recently launched Scion iQ in the USA. Toyota will be selling the iQ through its Scion brand in North America. BMW has been going off-beat with its model range. We first had the X6, then the 5 series GT to be followed up by the 3 series GT and these two – The BMW X5 M and the BMW X6 M.

While the M Series brand is under criticism for these 2 new models during concepts and market testing, they have been both equally well received at the New York Auto Show. To ensure BMW M DNA in every model, BMW has done the unthinkable – They have made M versions of their X5 SUV and X6 SAC. These two models are going after the successful Porsche Cayenne Turbo and Mercedes Benz ML63 AMG.

BMW’s M (Motorsport) division has finally entered into the world of high performance SUV’s. Prices in USA are expected to be in the range of $90,000.

The Mercedes Benz S-Class is one car that needs no tuning, yet German firm Relux have done just that. They have gone ahead and further modified a $100,000 Mercedes S-Class. They are lesser knows at these parts of the world because their popularity lies with people in the middle-east. So lets see what they have done to the S. The Nissan 370Z coupe has created quite a buzz in the market after being on sale for only a few months. The 332bhp coupe even has the ability to challenge to the more expensive Porsche 911 996. While the 370Z is very serious and sporty,the fun part has been missing. Now, this has been taken care of by the upcoming convertible version. The wind in your hair experience would always be welcome.

The 370Z convertible made it’s debut this week’s at the New York Auto Show. The show will also mark the debut of the US version of the Nismo 370Z S-Tune (Anthony photographed the Japanese S-Tune at the Tokyo Auto Salon back in January!)

Maserati recently revealed it’s sexy new GranTurismo MC which is a European GT4 Cup race car mildly based on the Maserati GranTurismo S production car.

The car will be sold directly from Maserati Corse at a cost of $180,000 USD.
