Lamborghini’s final answer to this years deliverance of many new supercars is here. The ultimate and final Lamborghini Murcielago iteration has finally shed its roof. While the Lamborghini Reventon is already an extremely exquisite and expensive Murcielago, Lamborghini has now exhausted all avenues of extending the life of their marquee supercar to create a convertible for those who were unlucky to secure 1 of 20 Reventon’s – or for those who new that the Lamborghini Reventon Roadster was just a matter of time..
While the car is inspired by jet fighters sports spectacular attention to detail, it still is the most exclusive ever (only 20 hard-tops were ever made). The convertible took its sweet time after the Reventon’s official unveiling at Frankfurt 2008. Exactly a year later, we are going to have possibly the most sought after hypercar in recent times. The exclusivity of this car lies in the car itself. This is one car that would make every person scream! Its that special.
With carbon-fiber body panels and slicer blade wheel designs, it is a jet fighter minus the wings. Interiors match the exteriors and are draped in alcantara leather and carbon fiber. The jet-car is likely to retain the screaming 6.5L V12 that produces 650 bhp and 660Nm of torque although rumors suggest the engine is lifted from the Lp670-2. Performance will be breath taking with 100Km/h in 3.4 seconds while it tops out at over 340Km/h (211mph).
It will be unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt which is just a few days away. expect prices to be extremely exclusive as well. While production will be restricted to 20 units (or 19-one less than the market wants), it is expected to cost US$ 1,750,000 and that is before you get to the options list! Don’t even mind counting your bank balance because we fear that all models might have been sold out already! Raging bull is back!
