New Updates Coming to the 2017 BMW 3 Series GT

Looks like some new features are being input into the hatchback 3 Series Gran Turismo of BMW. Recently, BMW has treated the hatchback 3 Series Gran Turismo to some great updates for its newest model coming this 2017. Some of the most noticeable changes in the 3 Series is the companies introduction of the latest four and six cylinder engines. Also, coming along with these upgraded engines are brand new updates to the appearance and equipment.

Having created only 18 of these beasts for BMW to offer worldwide, the U.S. will be only receiving 2 of the 18 2017 3 Series GT vehicles. Both new vehicles will posses the new 3 GT engines that has been specially manufactured from BMW’s newest modular engine architecture, which basically produces from three to four and six cylinders.

Furthermore, a new 330i will be coming into the car industry as well for BMW for it to replace the previous 328i Gran Turismo. Some of the features of the new 330i are that it will be running on a 2.0 liter turbocharged inline four good for 252 horsepower which will be an upgrade over the 240 of the 328i Gran Turismo. In addition, the 330i has to offer an increase of 258 pound-feet of torque which is slightly higher than the other model which offers only 255.

Replacing the going obsolete 335i is the new 340i which is being introduced in the market as a 3.0 liter turbo six rated at 326 horsepower and a 332 pound feet of torque. Both of these new models will also be coming along with xDrive all-wheel drive and also be possessing an eight speed automatic as it did before with the other previous models.

Taking place in last years 3 sedan launch, the 340i and its new engine were introduced to the world but the 330i and its four cylinder were still not part of the sedan or wagon lineup and still continues to wait for its time to shine. However, it is expected that when the time comes to introduce the 330i, there will be an engine and name change to the accordingly.

Aside from the updates to the engine of the 2017 3 GT, there seems to be many other attractive visual tweaks that appear on the vehicle such as: new LED headlights, taillights, daytime running lights and fog lights. Other exterior updates are that the matte chrome exterior trim is now coming as a standard to the vehicle and there is a new rear bumper design for the car as well. Now taking a deeper look into the interior, it is noticeable that there will be now chrome accents and small other changes to make the vehicle for more luxurious and rich. Last but not least, the latest iDrive infontainment(Version 5.0) has also been included with the GPS option as well. Customers will have the ability to select from various types of bundles for which they want to include such as luxury, M Sport, Lighting and Cold Weather packages.

In conclusion, BMW is going to offering a lot of new vehicles to its line in the upcoming years and its something all of us should look forward to as it will be amazing to watch.
