Dodge Viper 2017 Special Editions

It shouldn’t come as a surprise to many that it is almost near to the end of the tunnel for the Dodge Viper model. It has been reported that the Dodge Viper will not be moving on past the 2017 model year as it is coming to an end in production. But looking at the positive we can take away that the viper had a solid 25 year run and that should be something that is celebrated and recognized.

Not many models reach to survive 25 years such as the Honda Cr-Z, Saturn Sky or any model under Scion brand. Therefore, having to reach 25 long years, it is something that should be celebrated as its era is coming to an end. In response to the ending of the Viper’s production, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles have took the initiative to celebrate the greatness of the Viper model by producing five special editions for the Viper’s final model year. The five editions are: The 1:28 Edition ACR, GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR, VoooDoo II Edition ACR, Snakeskin Edition GTC, and Dodge Dealer Edition ACR.

Instead of going through each and every special edition model that Dodge has released for this celebration year, you can take a look at the picture above and see which viper model strikes your fancy. Looking at the five editions, the GTS-R is probably the best pick out of the pack as it is coated with its classic blue on white paint scheme. However, if you prefer to be more bold and extravagant, the Snakeskin Green Viper is perfect to satisfy your quest.

Nonetheless, some of these special edition Viper models won’t catch our attention as many of us have different tastes. But if you would still like to park a 2017 Viper in your garage before they go out of production, worry not as you will still have the chance to do so. Dodge is still offering its “1 of 1” customization program for customers in the Viper’s final year of production, therefore allowing customers to custom their dream car to their liking. Nevertheless, instead of be stricken with grief because of Vipers amazing era coming to an end, we should be looking forward and asking ourselves the question that Dodge has left many of its customers thinking: What’s next?
