The Lamborghini Centenario

The supercar world has been buzzing with the release of many innovating and exciting supercars. Just to name a few: Mercedes AMG GTR, LaFerrari Spider and the Signapore supercar the Mazzanti EV-R.

However, the most exciting of of the new age has to be the ultra rare, ultra aggressive looking Lamborghini Centenario.

It’s sad to say that only 40 examples of this beauty will go to customers. 20 Coupes and 20 roadsters. The MSRP for one of these cars will settle at $1.9 million USD however, we expect the value to shoot up rather ¬†quickly upon delivery.

Of course, already 40 buyers have lined up, willing to pay whatever price that Lamborghini threw at their face. Every last one has been sold.

So, what did these people buy for almost $2 million? Well, quite a bit actually.

First off, the car is all carbon fiber. Yep, not a single strand of aluminium in the chassis or bodywork. This makes the Centenario the lightest supercar to come out of Lamborghini. Weighing in at 3,351 pounds.

Chilling stuff. But it’s not over.

Take that light frame and drop a 6.5 liter NA V12 that is capable of 770hp and you’ll get one hell of a machine that can go from 0-60 in 2.7 seconds with a top speed of 217 mph. This makes it one of the fastest road going cars that is currently in first line production.

To keep all that power on the road, Lamborghini has given the Centenario its all new all-wheel-steering system.

All 40 examples of the cars will come with the automaker’s damping system that analyses road conditions and adjusts the car’s setup.
