ABT Audi R8 GTR Video

Checkout the ABT Audi R8 GTR video, the modified 5.2 FSI V10 R8 was unveiled at the 2010 Geneva Auto Salon. Limited to 25 iterations the ABT R8 GTR has 620bhp which delivers a 0-100km/h time of 3.2 seconds! and a 200km/h time of 9.9 seconds. Top speed is 325km/h (202mph). Lamborghini Gallardo Reventon by CDC

Checkout CDC International’s latest kit, the Lamborghini Gallardo Reventon.

CDC brings you a body kit in the Lamborghini Reventon style. There are a lot of Glossy-Carbon components like air intakes, rear diffuser and spoiler sword. The Side Skirts, rear apron and front apron is available in Carbon and in Fiberglass. The parts are a MADE in GERMANY and IMMEDIATELY Available. Thanks to Stephan Bauer for the tip on this post! Looks like someone over in Europe has taken their recently acquire Ferrari 458 Italia and vinyl wrapped it with a Siberian Desert camouflage design! Pretty wild, I think it would look pretty sweet up close even it is just a vinyl wrap.

Underground Racing Gallardo 5000 Video

Back in October 2009 at the Texas Mile, Underground Racing (home of the World’s fastest street legal twin turbocharged Lamborghini’s) showcased their 1500hp Lamborghini Gallardo 5000 which is now the fastest Lamborghini in the world which was able to hit 241mph in 1 mile.

Power comes from Underground Racing completely rebuilding the Gallardo’s engine matted with a massive pair of 62mm turbos then fueled with C-16 racing gas. Just check out the videos and their Matte Black Twin Turbo Gallardo LP560-4 which was at SEMA 2009.

Tokyo Auto Salon 2010

This post is kind of a big deal because this event marks my 2nd year in a row attending the Tokyo Auto Salon 2010 (Tokyo Auto Salon 2009 Review) and because this post is CarZi.com’s 1000th post!!

Even with down yet slowly recovering economic conditions affecting everything global & automotive, the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon will be celebrating it’s 28th anniversary this year with approximately 300 companies in attandance (2009 had 334 companies which drew 230,000 visitors in 3 days!!).

Last year, among the 334 companies that were in attendance the two that really stood out produced some custom Lamborghini Murcielago 4×4 ATV and a custom Ferrari Suzuki Hayabusa Trike which garnered much attention from the crowd and automotive blogs/magazines around the globe.

Finally, my trip to Tokyo’s flagship Nissan Ginza Showroom gave me the timely opportunity to provide the world with the first detailed up close photo album of the Nissan GT-R Spec V which saw 40,000+ views in less than 24 hours!

Bottom line is that the Tokyo Auto Salon 2010 is in less than 5 days and before I make my attendance I will be hitting Hakuba, Japan for some sick world class powder snowboarding If you happen to be at the show and see me (i’ll be one of a few tall white guys) don’t be shy and say hi!

Because most of you hardcore Chevy Camaro die hards can’t wait until the official production 2011 Chevy Camaro convertible, Drop Top Customs is offering an $18,000 conversion option which will debut at the 2009 SEMA SHOW in Las Vegas!

Checkout the spy photo below that was recently taken outside GM’s Holden plant in Australia of 8 pre-production drop tops! I wonder if the drop top’s will make this car look any better, as I am not a huge fan of them anymore.

IMSA Gallardo LP560-4 GTV Photos

Here are some GREAT shots of the IMSA tuned Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4. It’s officially called the IMSA GTV kit. We have previously seen examples of the GTV kit on the last generation Gallardo as well, most notably on the Verde Ithaca IMSA Gallardo owned by Zahir Rana of ZR Auto based in Calgary. Perfection is not to far off with this package when comparing it to many other tuning houses and aftermarket body kits for Lamborghini. Checkout what IMSA had to say about the design of this kit below.

Lu Hao Ferrari 599 GTB China Video & Pictures

With the recent 12 Limited edition Ferrari 599 HGTE China Editions to be released for the lucky few in China, Lu Hao has further created a special one off edition featuring a cracked glaze paint job pattern designed to mimic the famed Ge Liln porcelain of the Song Dynasty, of which today there remains only a few hundred pieces. There is also a jade engine starter button as well as Hao’s signature

Lumma Porsche Panamera CLR 700GT Photos

Lumma Design has just recently released their Porsche Panamera CLR 700GT widebody upgrade kit sporting an aggressive aerodynamic race friendly front clip, massive wheel arches to house 22 inch deep dish rims, a monstrous brake system upgrade and a 1.38 inch drop in suspension. Obviously the massive carbon fiber race wing offers some additional downforce when combined with their updated rear clip with diffuser.

Underneath the hood, Lumma has made some mods to pump out 700hp, and given the exhaust an upgrade to let the monster breath and sound via quad pipes. Stay tuned for more detailed updates

Glickenhaus Ferrari P4/5 Competizione

James Glickenhaus, the famous owner of the only 1 off coach-built Enzo Ferrari P4/5 has recently made plans with Ferrari that he’s finally ready to launch a North American Racing Team (N.A.R.T).

Glickenhaus commented that the specifics around engine/chassis/gearbox/design has been figured out and should be made public soon. The photo above is a rendering by Michiel Van Den Brink which is a “very rough” idea of what it should look like. Glickenhaus also that “we’re still working out the details and should have an image and specifications in a few weeks”!

“We’re looking for one major sponsor. That race gets 250k spectators and a lot of TV. In addition we could do other races and when her racing days are over we’d keep her in that livery and she’d go to a lot of events. There’d be a lot exposure and it’s not going to cost Crazy money,” said Glickenhaus.

In addition to looking for money (which in reality, he does not really need to make this plan happen), Glickenhaus also indicated an interest in participating in the 24 Hours Of Nürburgring.

WALD Lexus RX450h Black Bison

The WALD International Black Bison styling kit is now available for the RX450h. In essence what you get is a very aggressive yet stylish front end. The modified front clip gets bigger air inlets and the silver inserts below the fog lamps are a nice touch and stand out like the horns of a Bison. WALD has successfully modified and produced the WALD Nissan GT-R and WALD Lexus IS-F, both of which get full CarZi support!

You also get side skirts that continue the theme of the front bumpers. There is a new diffuser at the rear bumper and twin chrome tail pipes at either end. The rear end looks remarkably similar to the Subaru Impreza hatch. Just hide the badge and you can understand what we mean.

There is an all new roof spoiler and the wheels, shod with wider rubber are the best bits on the car. The brushed silver look stands out from the all black car. You can also get the interiors trimmed with special alloy pedals set and specific floor mats that have a red border so that you know they are there. Every part of the car continues the black theme and even the pedals are sort of dark grayish in shade. The basic doormats alone start at 23,100 Yen. Add another 40,000 yen if you want the alloy pedals.

Prices for the styling kit are not yet available but if you want your Lexus RX to look menancing among the crowd of Lexus SUV’s, this is one kit you must have! Enjoy the pictures.
