Another year, another slow economy for the USA and specifically sunny Las Vegas, yet the 2011 SEMA Show Photos seems to be packed full of modified and exotic cars. It truly is something to visit SEMA, and see all the sweat, blood and money that goes into some of the custom cars and trucks at this show. Checkout the ABT Audi R8 GTR video, the modified 5.2 FSI V10 R8 was unveiled at the 2010 Geneva Auto Salon. Limited to 25 iterations the ABT R8 GTR has 620bhp which delivers a 0-100km/h time of 3.2 seconds! and a 200km/h time of 9.9 seconds. Top speed is 325km/h (202mph). Audi unveiled their new R8 V10 Convertible (aka Spyder) at the 2009 Frankfurt International Motor Show in September. It sports the 5.2L V10 engine found in the coupe which delivers 518hp and 391ft-lbs of torque. Crank the volume and enjoy the video!

Former UFC Champion Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson was recently rear ended by a women while driving home from California’s Orange County Audi dealership in a brand new V10 Audi R8. Looks like his new V10 is sporting the same wheels (but with a black lip) that his last black R8 had when it was at HIN LA in 2008 – Rampage R8.

Rampage said, “I am fine, the little old lady is fine, but my car got hurt, and for that I’m sad.”

This is the first time in a couple years that Rampage has been in a vehicular incident where he wasn’t being chased by cops or in a wham bam freeway slam fest in his monster truck!

Not only does John Mayer have an appetite for hot Hollywood celebs (Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Simpson, Minka Kelly, Jennifer Aniston, Katy Perry to name a few), but he also has an appetite for luxurious exotic super cars!

Back in June 2009 John was originally spotted putting some high grade octane in his black Ferrari 599 GTB at a gas station in Calabasas, then just a couple weeks ago he was spotted getting out of a white Audi R8, and just recently again at a gas station with his Ferrari 599. In 2008 John Mayer was also spotted at a gas station with his Gulf Blue and Orange Ford GT and also with a Land Rover Defender!

These original pics were posted over at R8talk.com by the owner himself, a man going by the screen name “iains” from the UK. He admitted that a Verde Ithaca Gallardo Spyder was a near buy a while back, but instead opted to go for a white one. I can only assume the ALLURE of the GREEN ENVY was too much to handle and when he saw this one off JAVA GREEN AUDI R8 the temptation was just too strong to deny!!!
