I can’t think of a better way to kick the February winter blues than to hop on a plane this afternoon and head down to Miami for the weekend to take part and cover the 2010 Supercar Experience (SCX)! Among all the sick cars and the sunshine we get to bask in, we are also super excited to visit with Brett David and Felicia Vaccaro at Lamborghini Miami, after the red carpet treatment they provided us last year during our visit at Lamborghini Palm Beach Supercar Weekend! Today kicks off the 2010 Canadian International Autoshow at the Metro Toronto Convention Center. I was lucky enough to have 2 Montreal friends; Josh McRae and Stephan Bauer come chill and play with our cameras for a couple days. This years show was a little smaller than last years due to no car displays being displayed in the Rogers Center, however I was very satisfied with the show mainly due to the Carroll Shelby Display, the Audi R8 Spyder, Ferrari 599xx, Black McLaren SLR 722S, Porsche Gemballa Mirage GT that I had previously spotted (and haven’t seen since) in Toronto back in April 2008. A Red Mercedes SLS AMG Gullwing and Silver Mercedes SLS AMG Gullwing, HTT Plethore and PFAFF Tuning added some new excitement to the show!

It has happened with Michael Jordan, it has happened with Brett Favre, and it has happened even with Jay-Z. So perhaps it is no surprise that another superstar icon has announced he is coming out of retirement. Michael Schumacher is coming back to F1, but not to Ferrari. The new Mercedes-Brawn F1 team made the official announcement December 23, 2009 that the Seven Time World Champion will be driving for them in 2010 along with Nico Rosberg.

On November 15, 2009, the Ferrari Club Victoria Australia held a fundraiser show to raise support for one of the communities affected by bush fires earlier in the year. It was a great turn out considering it’s 100km from Melbourne. Check out all the pictures of the FCV Show HERE. Ferrari Club Victoria have a regular concourse every year and many drive days and meetings. What a sea of RED! My favorite car would have to be the Yellow Ferrari 430 Scuderia with 458 Italia wheels. Thanks to 300 SLED for his photo submissions!

F1 Breaking News! Kimi Raikkonen’s manager Steve Robertson announced late on Tuesday November 18, 2009 to Finnish newspaper Turun Sanomat that Kimi will not be racing Formula 1 in 2010.

“The only option for F1 next season was McLaren or nothing,” Robertson said. “Kimi and McLaren were unable to reach an agreement, so he will not drive at F1 level, at least not next year.”

Raikkonen and McLaren failed to come to terms based on salary, sponsor duties and Kimi’s freedom to rally race. Turun Sanomat speculated that 2011 Raikkonen could most likely return to Formula 1 Grand Prix with Red Bull Racing.

Keep in mind that Kimi’s severance deal with Ferrari will net him more money by taking a year off in 2010, than if he would have raced the year!

Next year, he is likely to be active in rally cars and possibly the Le Mans 24 Hours, the newspaper added.
