Ferrari unveiled it’s fastest flagship car in Geneva – and it’s a hybrid! The unexpectedly named Ferrari LaFerrari (previously known as the F70) was unveiled just yards away from its natural rival the McLaren P1 and the Lamborghini Veneno at the Geneva Motor Show this month and it’s surprising in more ways than one. Ferrari chose the 2013 Geneva MotorShow event to unveil its fastest ever road car, displacing last year’s Ferrari F12 Berlinetta from top of the pile and consigning it to second hand car sites like Car Sales now that there is a new boy in town – albeit limited to 499 happy customers. Even more ground-breaking is the fact that this is Ferrari’s first ever hybrid. Photos and video below!

Lamborghini chose Miami, Florida as one of their premier spots to launch its 10 day Lamborghini Aventador Roadster campaign! President and CEO of Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann was in attendance driving one of the 12 Aventador Roadsters. Checkout the video below!

Right now the 2012 Gumball 3000 cars are lining up in New York Times Square to begin the first leg of their run to Toronto! The entrance fee is $40,000 USD per car and limited to 120 pre-screened cars (93 registered this year) to ensure they are “interesting” teams They arrive in Toronto sometime tonight and I will be there to take some photos! Don’t forget to checkout the cars from the 2011 Gumball 3000 and 2010 GUMBALL 3000 when they were last in Toronto! There is even a techno colored Team Toronto (Team #12) driving a Mercedes Benz SLS AMG!

The 2011 Dubai International Motor Show Photos opened yesterday and runs until November 14th. MadWhips contributor Tariq199 has just uploaded his first batch of his Day1 coverage for all of us to enjoy. Included are 3 Special Edition Bugatti Veyrons and custom modified supercars by Mansory, Hamann, AC Schnitzer, Gemballa and more. There are also a pair of Rolls Royce Phantom’s (Coupe & Drophead) with a 2300 diamonds (g color, vs clarity) “flying lady” hood ornament weighing in at 38.53 carats to celebrate her centenial!

This year marked the 20th anniversary of the McCalls Motorworks Revival private event at the Monterey Jet Center.Lotus debuted the Evora GTE Road Car Concept, Lamborghini had 2 LP700-4 Aventador’s, Hennessey also displayed their first Venom GT (destined for a domestic customer) and Aston Martin brought a bright red V12 Zagato. Good morning beautiful sunny California! Today is day practice day before 2 days of races at the Laguna Seca 2011 Ferrari Racing Days at the Mazda Raceway in Monterey. I arrived in San Francisco yesterday and warmed up my 5DMKII by visiting Lamborghini San Francisco and Bentley San Francisco.

Among the Ferrari Racing events I am most excited to see the hardcore track only versions of the Ferrari 458, Ferrari FXX and Ferrari 599XX screaming around the track! Stay tuned for full video and photo coverage!

HOT OFF THE PRESS!! Checkout the newest kid on the block, the Ferrari Four. 12 Cylinders, 4 Seats and 4 wheels drive! It will replace the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti and features a Pininfarina design which melds cues from the Ferrari 458 Italia, Ferrari California and Ferrari 599 GTB.
