I can’t think of a better way to kick the February winter blues than to hop on a plane this afternoon and head down to Miami for the weekend to take part and cover the 2010 Supercar Experience (SCX)! Watching some young punk snow drift in his dads Rolls Royce Phantom Snow Drift Video was cool, but not as bad ass as Mr. Ken Block snow drifting his brand new 2011 Monster Ford Fiesta Rally car down the icey roads of Gladwin Michigan to prepare for Rally America’s 1st race of the year!. Former UFC Champion Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson was recently rear ended by a women while driving home from California’s Orange County Audi dealership in a brand new V10 Audi R8. Looks like his new V10 is sporting the same wheels (but with a black lip) that his last black R8 had when it was at HIN LA in 2008 – Rampage R8.

Rampage said, “I am fine, the little old lady is fine, but my car got hurt, and for that I’m sad.”

This is the first time in a couple years that Rampage has been in a vehicular incident where he wasn’t being chased by cops or in a wham bam freeway slam fest in his monster truck!

Sometime in late November, Posh Spice (aka Victoria Beckham) bought a grey Bentley Continental Supersports for her husband David Beckham after his LA Galaxy team lost a US Cup Final. The Bentley GT Speed can do 0-60 in 3.7 luxurious seconds thanks to it’s W12 which delivers 621bhp and 590ft lb of torque (attainable at 2000-45000rpm).

Bentley Motors denotes: “The Continental Supersports represents a perfect relationship between engineering and design with the enhanced iconic GT looks reflecting and heightening the supercar performance.”

Checkout Ferrari’s latest one off; the P540 Superfast Aperta custom built (using a Ferrari 599 GTB) for Edward Walson (son of John – the inventor of cable TV). This is the 2nd unique “special projects programme” created by Ferrari for their most discerning and wealthy collectors. (See the first Custom Ferrari F430 here). Inspiration for the Superfast Aperta comes from a Carrozzeria Fantuzzi-designed Ferrari built specifically for the 1968 Fellini film, Toby Dammit.

Earlier this week we witnessed the drowning of a Bugatti Veyron Lake Crash, and Friday November 13th it was revealed that the owner and driver was Andy House. Andy House (Performance Auto Sales which sells repaired exotic cars) also owns the Eddie Griffin Crashed Ferrari Enzo (now repaired).

Checkout the video below caught (or staged) by two dudes listening to Sublime’s “Wrong Way” thinking that they were witnessing a Lamborghini crashing into the lake!

Yesterday, November 11, 2009 at 3pm a man yet to be identified drove his $2 million dollar Bugatti Veyron into a saltwater lagoon (Galveston County, Texas) when apparently a low-flying pelican distracted him as he traveled north on Interstate 45 just south of the hurricane levee near Omega Bay.

The offending pelican still cannot be reached for comments at this time.

I remember when I got into my first accident at 16, as we don’t have pelicans up north in Canada, so I had to use the excuse that a big black bear made me swerve into the ditch wrecking my parents car.. wildlife excuses are marvelous
