Lamborghini chose Miami, Florida as one of their premier spots to launch its 10 day Lamborghini Aventador Roadster campaign! President and CEO of Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann was in attendance driving one of the 12 Aventador Roadsters. Checkout the video below!

This week Lamborghini trumped the Ferrari’s F12 Berlinetta unveiling by introducing the one of a kind (for now) Rosso J colored Lamborghini Aventador Jota (or J for short) speedster. Same engine as the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 (6.5L V12 with 690hp) but without a roof and some interesting new forged composite seats (a material Lamborghini pioneered with Callaway Golf) first showcased on the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept.

Another year, another slow economy for the USA and specifically sunny Las Vegas, yet the 2011 SEMA Show Photos seems to be packed full of modified and exotic cars. It truly is something to visit SEMA, and see all the sweat, blood and money that goes into some of the custom cars and trucks at this show. Special thanks go out to my friend Richard Owen (founder of supercars.net) for these pictures and the rest to come this week!

This year marked the 20th anniversary of the McCalls Motorworks Revival private event at the Monterey Jet Center.Lotus debuted the Evora GTE Road Car Concept, Lamborghini had 2 LP700-4 Aventador’s, Hennessey also displayed their first Venom GT (destined for a domestic customer) and Aston Martin brought a bright red V12 Zagato. Checkout the great video and photos of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Unveiling in Miami @ Epic last night. Among the 400+ VIP patrons in attendance, Valentino Balboni (former Lamborghini Chief Test Driver) and Bret David (Owner of Lamborghini Miami & Prestige Imports Miami) were there to welcome Lamborghini’s new flagship model to our shores.

Congrats to Andrew Romanowski on his recent LCA appointment to be the President of the Lamborghini Club of America!! The LCA also recently launched a new campaign (that focuses on the heritage of the brand built by founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini) as well as a new website!
Seeing that I have been to the Ferrari Club of America’s annual meets for the last couple years, I figure this year I should make it to my first Lamborghini Club of America annual meet!

AHAHAHAHA, ok first off this song has been out for a while, but this video just hit the shelves, and I must say the video is awesome! Keep in mind it’s got nothing to do with the fact that I love supercars or old school Sir Mix-A-Lot (aka Mr. Lam-bor-ghini), but everything to do with the awesome lyrics and all the call outs in this video!! Photos of a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Police car chases a Pagani Zonda! Both cars were vinyl wrapped for a video trailer scene for the upcoming Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit due to be released November 2010!
