Another year, another slow economy for the USA and specifically sunny Las Vegas, yet the 2011 SEMA Show Photos seems to be packed full of modified and exotic cars. It truly is something to visit SEMA, and see all the sweat, blood and money that goes into some of the custom cars and trucks at this show. This year marked the 20th anniversary of the McCalls Motorworks Revival private event at the Monterey Jet Center.Lotus debuted the Evora GTE Road Car Concept, Lamborghini had 2 LP700-4 Aventador’s, Hennessey also displayed their first Venom GT (destined for a domestic customer) and Aston Martin brought a bright red V12 Zagato. The brand new McLaren MP4-12C made it’s public world debut last week (July 2-4, 2010) at the 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Jenson Button (current F1 World Champion) and Lewis Hamilton (2008 F1 World Champion) entertained the crowds by driving an Orange McLaren Validation Prototype MP4-12C up the Goodwood Hill. In addition to the Validation Prototype on hand, it was also complimented by a MP4-12C rolling chassis which exposes the car’s frame and beautifully crafted carbon fiber tub. McLaren will start to ship out their new supercar from their factory in Woking, England next summer!

Checkout this video of Jay Leno taking 1 of 3 Koenigsegg CCXR Pictures and Video for a drive and talking shop with Christian von Koenigsegg. The CCXR is a handbuilt Swedish supercar powered by a twin-supercharged V8. When run on E85 Biofuel the CCXR delivers 1018bhp and 782 ft-lbs of torque and can do 0-62mph (100km/h) in 2.9 seconds. Here are all the current Meccan Exciter Supercar renderings released so far. It’s design was just currently completed. All required CAD/CAM drawings and specs have been completed and are ready to proceed with the production of a rolling prototype. There are expected to be 3 versions of the Meccan Exciter available: Hard Top, Targa Top, and a Competition model.

Bugatti unveils the ultimate 4 door ever – The Galibier. Moving on from supercars to four door super sedans, we had the Porsche Panamera and then the Aston Martin Rapide and finally Bugatti is here to remind these two who the boss really is. What you see here is called the Galibier. You can recall that rumors and speculations suggested that it would be called the Bugatti Royale or Bugatti Bordeaux. This is Bugatti’s take on the ultra luxury four door supercar segment and features twin supercharged Veyron engine with 800bhp, nearly unheard of in a 4 door car so far!
