BMW just revealed this teaser preview video of their upcoming BMW X6 M which will have a new ‘M’ prepped twin-scroll turbocharged V8 engine combined with a rear-wheel biased (60/40 type split) all-wheel drive system.

My friend Chris Burdick over at Automoblog.net seems to have had quite a bit of fun test driving the 2009 Aston Martin V8 Vantage! The 2009 Aston Martin V8 Vantage gets a 4.7L 420hp / 347 ft-lbs engine upgrade which only delivers 0-60 in 4.7, still a step up from its previous 4.3L 380hp! The new model has a Sports Pack option ($3,785) which includes new sexy and lightweight 5 spoke wheels and Bilstein dampers.

Here is an awesome video of a Koenigsegg CCXR being delivered and then taken out for a quick test drive on a very fun looking windy road! Turn up the volume and enjoy! For some reason if I had to choose between this carbon fiber cladded Koenigsegg CCXR and a Bugatti Veyron, I would definitely choose the CCXR because of its dark and stealth like design.

The Porsche 959 is hailed as the “first” and the Ferrari F40 the “last”. What they are referring to in the video is that the Porsche 959 was the first real technologically advanced Porsche supercar which paved the way for Porsche and set a new standard for future sports cars. The Ferrari F40 was referred to as the “last”, as it was the last Ferrari to be created while Enzo Ferrari was alive.

Here is the first Corvette ZR1 in Europe (pre-production) which recently got tested on the Autobahn up to 310km/h (193mph) with little effort! After a critical fluid and tire pressure check, they fire up the 647hp Corvette ZR1 and warm the car up during their drive out of the dealership in Dusseldorf and onto the Autobahn!

Regardless if YOU think this new Amercian supercar is worthy of a “supercar title” or not, watch and LISTEN to how beautiful and fluid that engine really is.. This is American Auto Engineering at its finest… Do you think it tops the Ford GT ?

I have listened to this video without watching it a couple times just to focus on how fucking sweet that engine really sounds! Checkout the 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 – The Big Picture from Automotive Engineering March 2008.

The only stereotype that I will have to disprove for myself due to past driving experiences of corvettes is that they drive like a big heavy sports car. By big and heavy I am referring to the suspensions response over bumps, corners and overall driveability. However even though it is no Dodge Viper I still equate the corvette to a large and in charge sports car.
